The Club operates three safety boats, two Ribcraft, Mallard II and Redwing, and an old Dell Quay Dory, Osprey.
It is worth noting that these engines have different killcord mechanisms to the old switch type killcords:
 Old Style Killcord Switch, as found on Mercury Engine on the Dory. Please familiarise yourself with these differences before going afloat. If unsure, please seek advice from either the Club Bosun, or a Powerboat Instructor. Please always disconnect killcords after use, and store them under the helm's seat. This is to avoid UV degradation. |
